Abstract
Objective :To discuss the clinical effective way of preventing stomatitis caused by radiation.Methods :125 cases of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma who were treated by radiotherapy were divided into two groups :65 cases in control group,and 60 cases in experimental group. Patients in control group accepted conventional nursing care ;patients in experimental group accepted oral assessment,dietary care and psychological care except for routine nursing care.Extent of patients’stomatitis and their body weight were evaluated when they had accepted 3000 cGy,5000 cGy and a few days after the whole radiotherapy.Results :Incidence of stomatitis in experimental group is significantly lower than control group.Even the happening of losing weight in experimental group was less frequently than control group.Conclusion :Comprehensive nursing may profit patients of head or neck carcinoma by reducing the incidence and extent of stomatitis caused by radiation.关键词
