Abstract
Objective :To investigate the possible risk factors of carotid artery atherosclerosis in young-middle age officer.Methods :Afer routine examinations,the offers (28-59 years old)were observed by color doppler ultrasound to detect carotid artery.Results :The study involved 92 officers,in which 11(12.0%)cases(carotid intima-media thickness,CIMT>1.0 mm)were detected,as well as 2(2.2%) atherosclerotic plaques in carotid artery was observed. The multivariate logistic regression showed that the risk factors of carotid artery atherosclerosis were :age(P=0.0257),serum uric acid(P=0.0307),mean hemoglobin concentration(P=0.0455).Conclusion :Age,serum uric acid,and mean hemoglobin concentration were the important risk factors for carotid artery atherosclerosis in young-middle age officer.关键词
