Abstract

Southern Beier depression of Tamuchage basin is one complex faulted basin which has experienced several alterations with many strong tensiles,compressions,settlements and other tectonic activities.The objective reservoir-Nan1 reservoir has no uniform oil-water interface.The reservoir depth varies widely.Because of compaction and diagenesis influence,the logging response characteristics are complex.The oil-water layer resistivity contrast is low.The effect to use traditional oil-water layer identification chart is poor.In order to solve above problems,through researching mudstone logging response characteristics and distribution of oil-water under the stress condition,we found that the mudstone resistivity is more lower,the interval transit time is more bigger,and the oil content of near sandstone reservoir is better,Based on this characteristic,we worked out a new fluid identification method which considers logging response characteristics of adjacent mudstone.It improves fluid identification accuracy of complex reservoir in fault basin.It obtains good geological effect.
