Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of methylprednisolone treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and type 2 respiratory failure.Methods Eighty cases of COPD and type 2 respiratory failure patients were randomly divided into study group and control group,with 40 cases in each group.The study group was treated with methylprednisolone intravenously,and the control group was treated with dexamethasone intravenously.The treatment efficiency,Pa(O2),Pa(CO2) and adverse reactions of two groups were compared.Results The treatment efficiency of the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P ＜0.05).Pa(O2) of the study group was significantly higher than the control group,and Pa(CO2)was significantly lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The adverse reaction rate of the two groups of patients showed no significant difference (P ＞0.05).Conclusion Methylprednisolone in the treatment of COPD patients with type 2 respiratory failure has better clinical efficacy and safety.关键词
