Abstract
Objective To study the clinical value of microwave physical therapy combined with intrapleural urokinase on loculated tuberculous peural fluid.Methods Sixty patients hospitalized from June 2007 to May 2012 with loculated tuberculous peural fluid were divided into control group and urokinase group and microwave group,20 cases in each.The three groups were all given systematic treatment measures such as anti-TB drugs and pleural drainage.Urokinase group was given extra intrapleural injection of urokinase.The control group was given the same amount of saline.The microwave group,besides the urokinase injection,was treated with microwave physical therapy.Results The duration of pleural effusion absorption of microwave physical therapy combined with intrapleural urokinase group was shorter than the urokinase group and the control group (P＜0.05).The pleura was thinner and the incidence of pleural adhesion was significantly lower than the urokinase group and the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Microwave physical therapy combined with intrapleural urokinase is an effective way for treating loculated tuberculous peural fluid.关键词
