Formulation and implementation of softened shell model for reinforced concrete wall-type structures
摘要
Abstract
The shear capacity of shear walls depends on the softening of concrete struts.In order to study the mechanical properties of shear walls subjected to complex loading,a softened shell model was formulated and implemented in the finite element framework of OpenSEES.The model was based on the cyclic softened membrane model and the first shear deformation theory.The accuracy of the modeling technique was validated by comparing simulated responses with experimental data from a framed wall subjected to shear and a wall subjected to torsion.Finally,a shear wall collapsed during the 2011 New Zealand earthquake was analyzed.The results indicate that the model can predict the stiffness and bearing capacity degradation of shear walls under a combined bending moment and shear load.关键词
