Abstract
Maleic anhydride (MAH) grafted ethylene-1-octene copolymer (POE) was prepared by reactive extrusion in twin-screw extruder.The effects of PS and POE-g-MAH on the morphology and mechanical properties of polypropylene/polystyrene (PP/PS) alloy were studied.The results show that:the tensile strength and bending strength of PP/PS alloy improve,and the impact strength decreases with the addition of PS; when the content of POE-g-MAH is less than 5 phr,not only the compatibility of the PP/PS alloy greatly improves and the size of discrete phase decreases,but also the notched izod impact strength increases at the same time,and the tensile strength,the elastic modulus of PP/PS alloy can still keep high level.关键词
