Design and Implementation of H.264/AVC Video Encoder Core Based on FPGA Verification

Abstract
H.264 compared with the previous standard has higher compression ratio,image quality,fault tolerance and network adaptability,is becoming one of the most popular high performance video code technologies.The rapid development of H.264 based on embedded system,to verify the H.264 encoder has also entered into a white-hot state.In the verification process,how to shorten the verification time,improve the verification efficiency and quality to speed up the time to market of chip is a daunting task.Construct FPGA verification platform based on H.264/AVC principle,then design verified cases from the encoding accuracy,the image quality and performance.It carries out comprehensive FPGA verification to core.Results shows that,H.264/AVC video encoding core function is perfect,with excellent performance,providing a powerful guarantee for subsequent chip.关键词
