Spectroscopy Studies on the Sulfate Solutions with Various Concentrations in Terahertz Range
摘要
Abstract
Sulfate content in water overheating will seriously endanger human health and ecological balance.The frequency-dependent spectral amplitude and absorption coefficients of sulfate solutions with different concentrations were obtained by using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) at the range from 0.2THz to 2.0THz.The result showed that different samples have different absorption curves.The absorption coefficient increased with the increase in concentration in sulfate solutions and a good linear relationship between them was observed.THz-TDS is able to distinguish between different concentrations of sulfate solutions and it can be applied to detect and analyze aqueous solution.THz-TDS could be a valuable method to monitor and inspect the water quality.关键词
