摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the correlation of pre-pregnancy body mass index and weight gain during pregnancy with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods:From Nov.2011 to Mar.2013,3 152 women with single fetus pregnancy were enrolled.According to the pre-pregnancy BMI,the subjects were divided into 4 groups:group A (<18.5 kg/m2,39cases),group B (18.5-23.9 kg/m2,2 808 cases),group C (24.0-27.9 kg/m2,246 cases),group D (≥ 28.0 kg/m2,59 cases). The incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus was compared among these groups. The effect of weight gain during pregnancy on incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus and pregnancy outcome was analyzed. Results:Altogether 216 cases of gestational diabetes mellitus were found. The incidences of gestational diabetes mellitus in groups A,B,C,D were 5.12%,6.52%,9.34%,13.55%,respectively; significant difference was found between group B and group D (P<0.05).The incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus was significantly different when pregnancy weight gain before24 weeks of pregnancy >6 kg was compared with ≤6 kg within group B,C,D (P<0.005).The delivery of 110 cases in group B and 1 case in group A were followed.According to the weight gain during pregnancy, women in group B were categorized into B1 (weight gain <12 kg),B2 (weight gain 12-16 kg),B3 (weight gain >16 kg).The incidences of preeclampsia, cesarean section rate, fetal macrosomia and postpartum hemorrhage were increased with the increase in weight gain during pregnancy;the rates of cesarean section were statistically different (P<0.05).Conclusions:Pre-pregnancy BMI and weight gain before 24 weeks of pregnancy are important factors for the occurrence of gestational diabetes mellitus.Controlling weight gain during pregnancy might reduce the occurrence of complications in mother and infant.关键词
