摘要
Abstract
Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in men results from failure of the hypothalamus or pituitary to stimulate and maintain normal testicular function.Testosterone substitution can develop and maintain secondary sexual characteristics and enhance libido.If patients with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism wish to father a child,gonadotropin can be supplemented to make testis volume increased,induce spermatogenesis and even pregnancy.Favorable factors influencing efficacy include a larger testicular size,prior gonadotropin therapy and inhibin B levels more than 60 ng/L.Patients with cryptorchidism or prior testosterone treatment and KAL1 mutations tend to have less favorable outcomes.关键词
