Diurnal metabolic changes in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome

Abstract
Objective To explore the endocrine metabolic features of patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome.Methods The circadian metabolic data of endocrine factors including 27 cases of OSAHS patients and 10 healthy controls diagnosed by respiratory monitoring through polysomnography in respiratory department of the 1st affiliated hospital of China Medical University from January to October in 2012 were summarized.Results (1) The HLD-C levels of severe OSAHS patients were significantly different from those of the controls,and CHO levels were higher in severe OSAHS patients than in the mild to moderate ones; (2) Significant differences in GLU and UA measured before bed and after waking up were observed respectively between severe OSAHS and controls ; (3) The awake OX-LDL was higher than that measured before sleep in severe OSAHS patients; (4) The awake OX-LDL level in OSAHS patients was higher than that in healthy controls.Conclusion The patients of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome with changes of endocrine factor is more prone to developing AS.关键词
