Study on Chemical Components of the Fruits of Toona sinensis

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical components in the fruits of Toona sinensis.METHODS:Silica gel column chromatography was used to isolate components from petroleum ether and ethyl acetate fraction of 95% EtOH extract.Subsequently,the chemical structures were elucidated by NMR spectral data and physical and chemical properties.RESULTS:9 compounds were isolated and elucidated as n-dodecane (1),lignoceric acid (2),β-sitosterol (3),stigrnasterol (4),vanillin (5),kaempferol (6),quercetin (7),methyl gallate (8) and ethyl gallate (9).Except for compound 3,the other compounds were isolated from the fruits of T.sinensis for the first time.CONCLUSIONS:The results of trial can provide reference for further study of the fruits of T.sinensis.关键词
