摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of gradual stepwise decompression in the treatment of post-traumatic acute brain swelling (PABS). Methods 46 cases of PABS were treated with standard large trauma craniotomy and combined with the gradual stepwise decompression which consists of making mesh-like dural and limited gradually methods. Results According to the GOS score evaluation showed the outcome was 19 patients died and 27 of survival including the good recovery in 8,moderate disability in 9 and severe disability in 10. Conclusions Gradual stepwise decompression techniques can be effective in preventing intraoperative acute encephalocele, reduce mortality and improve the prognosis.关键词
