Abstract

Spring corn was taken as the material to study the effects of rainfall harvesting planting combined with water-saving irrigation (RHWI) on soil moisture and yield of spring corn with the traditional irrigation modes of furrow irrigation and border irrigation as the control.The results showed that the soil moisture under RHWI increased by 0.58%~1.74%,4.55%~5.14%,3.21%~6.48% compared to those under furrow irrigation,furrow border irrigation and planting of rainfall harvesting (PRH),respectively.The average yield and water use efficiency (WUE) under RHWI were higher 5.03%~15.45%,14.57%~21.85%,2.32%~5.72% and 28.41%~40.23%,39.58%~54.70%,2.99%~5.09% than those under furrow irrigation,border irrigation and PRH.
