Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect and safety of sodium aescinate combined with mannitol to patients with cerebral edema.Methods 220 patients suffering from cerebral edema form Jan 2010 to Jan 2013 in our hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 110 patients in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with mannitol,while sodium aescinate was added to the patients of the treatment group.We compared the clinical efficacy between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the observation group (93.64％) was significantly higher than that of the control group (89.09％).The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups had statistical significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Sodium aescinate combined with mannitol in treatment of cerebral edema is safe and effective,worthy of clinical popularization and application.关键词
