Abstract
To study the effect of explant length and inoculation method on callus induction of Pinus massoniana Lamb..Explants of Pinus massoniana Lamb. were divided into different groups according to explants length and inculcation method ,the differences between the groups were compared. The results showed that when inoculated ,the best explants length were 0.1~0.2 cm. A large quantity of callus cells initiated on the surface of cutting areas,the entire explants were completely differentiated into calluses. The highest callus induction rate was 84.00%with seldom browning and the lowest contamination rate. The best explant inoculating method was inoculated vertically. In this case ,the callus formed earlier with a large number of callus cell population. It also had a lower browning and contamination level.关键词
