IHC and FISH detection of HER-2 and ER, PR in breast cancer, correlation with lymph node metastasi

Abstract
110 specimens of modified radical mastectomy were treated with fluorescence in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry, on a comparative analysis. Results showed that positive expression ( ) rate of HER-2 pro-tein in specimens of positive expression of ER and PR detected by IHC was lower significantly than that in speci-mens of negative expression of ER and PR ( 28.36%,37.84% vs 74.42%,63.89%); gene amplification rate in specimens of positive expression of ER and PR detected by FISH was lower significantly than that in specimens of negative expression of ER and PR ( 22.39%,24.32% vs 46.51%, 47.22%); positive expression ( ) rate of HER-2 protein with lymph node metastasis was higher significantly than that without lymph node metastasis ( 62.86% vs 38.67%);gene amplification rate of HER-2 with lymph node metastasis was 38.10%,and gene am-plification rate of HER-2 without lymph node metastasis was 27.94%,so the differences were not statically signifi-cant(P>0.05).关键词
