Abstract
With the employment of special tools for collocates in a corpus, the retrieval is carried out in a self-built corpus of China Daily editorials concerning the United States, US being the key word.After screening, 25 collocates with high frequency are picked up.Then, the top five frequent collocates are examined in detail with reference to their collocation and co-occurrence with US.The analysis reveals that China Daily editorials concerning the US basically do not approve the US strategies in Asia , and of-ten criticize the US politicians.关键词
