Abstract
The doctrine of Confucius, filial piety, occupies an important position. The famous sentence of " Filial piety is the essence of benevolence" highlights the importance of filial piety. Confucius gave a systematic interpretation about how to achieve filial piety to the parents, and opened up the innovative practice of respecting elders, and Confucius further made the natural emotion of filial piety have the humanity culture,thus achiveing the rational communication of filial piety and loyalty. In addition, Confucius put forward the thought of "benevolent love", and "filial piety" into the system of "benevolence", which in-spired countless Chinese people with humanitarian spirit.Only loving parents, can we love nature and our country. Then we can dedicate our filial piety to the whole society and make some contributions to our harmonious society.关键词
