摘要
Abstract
The late Middle Age as well as early modern society was an important period in English history from tra-ditional agricultural civilization to modern industry civilization. In the period, the class of gentry was growing in the process of the concentration of king power and the development of commercial economy. Different to the aristocra-cy, they were lords of few acres and the modes of production they took in the rural areas were more efficient. These modes of production were regarded as the embryo of capitalist mode of production and they exerted an important impact on the development of capitalism and modernization of English society.关键词
