Abstract
This paper discusses the application of modern GIS technology in engineering survey from the fol owing aspects:first, the definition and characteristics of GIS technology, il u-strates the definition method of three kinds GIS technologies and describes the prominent characteristics compared with 3D GIS and 2D GIS technology;second, a function module of GIS technology in engineering measurement of the GIS technology, analyses several main function in engineering survey;third, the application of GIS technology in engineering survey, specif-ical y analyzes the application of GIS technology in engineeri-ng measurement and actual ef ect.关键词
