摘要

Abstract

Electrical clearance and creepage distance are two important testing parameters in electrical product test, which play an important role in insulation property of the products. Reasonable clearance guarantees that the transient overvoltage and the peak voltage cannot breakdown equipment, while the right creepage distance ensures the insulation cannot produce flashover or breakdown under the given working voltage and pollution level. This paper states definitions and influencing factors of the electrical clearance and creepage distance, and analyzes how to choose the right measurement path in detail. In addition, the specific measurement method for the connecting terminal is exemplified with measurement results given at last.
