摘要

Abstract

To improve the maximum output power of the photovoltaic power generation system, this paper proposes a new photovoltaic maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method after comprehensive consideration of advantages and disadvantages of traditional algorithms. The method is based on genetic algorithm (GA) optimized BP neural network. Through the establishment of the maximum power point prediction model with neural network and the conversion of the model to the module that can be directly used in Simulink, traditional control method using S function is avoided. Simulation results with MATLAB/Simulink show that compared with traditional incremental inductance method, our method can track MPP faster and suppress fluctuations of the system at MPP more efficiently when luminous intensity and temperature change quickly.
