An Improved Blind Carrier Frequency Estimation Algorithm for Satellite MPSK Signals

Abstract
For the problem of carrier frequency high-precision estimation of satellite signal an improved blind carrier frequency estimation algorithm for satellite MPSK signals is presented in presence of unknown parame-ters . The simplified format of fourth-order cyclic cummulant is analyzed and used in order to reduce the compu-tational complexity . The circular overlap Welch spectrum is used to perform a coarse estimation and the high-or-der cyclic cummulant method is used to perform a fine estimation . Simulation results show that the new algorithm can quickly and effectively estimate the signal carrier frequency under low SNR .关键词
