Abstract
The improved spectral domain Prony’s method that calculates S-parameters for microstrip cir-cuits is investigated. Mode-port excitation technique and wave-port excitation technique in the finite difference time domain method ( FDTD) are analyzed and compared. A sampling interval selection criterion is proposed. Several practical engineering examples are provided to demonstrate the performance of the im-proved spectral domain Prony’s method. Numerical results show that the phase constant and S-parameters still can be accurately calculated under very small sampling interval condition with the improved spectral domain Prony’s method.关键词
