Integrated Diagnostic Algorithm for Integrated Avionics System Based on Multi-signal Model

Abstract
The failure mode and effect of highly integrated modern avionics system is so complex that the existing BITE’s ability is not qualified for fault diagnosis. The fault characteristic of integrated avionics sys-tem is analyzed and requirement to design its integrated diagnostic algorithm is summarized. In considera-tion of the advantage of multi-signal model on testability modeling and fault diagnosis, an integrated diag-nostic algorithm of integrated avionics system based on multi-signal model is presented. The framework of the integrated diagnostic algorithm is designed as well as the diagnostic algorithm for LRU ( Line Replace-able Unit)/LRM ( Line Replaceable Module) level, sub-system level and system level diagnosis. A false alarm prevention algorithm of sub-system level and system level diagnosis is designed to resolve false alarm problems of BITE ( Build in Test Equipment) . Quick diagnostic algorithm and precise diagnostic algorithm are designed to satisfy different diagnostic requirement of different BIT mode. Integrated diagnostic work-flow is presented as well as the composition, function, basic theory, input and output of each level’s diag-nostic model. The workflow and interface to design and develop the integrated diagnostic algorithm under current integrated development mode is presented for industry department.关键词
