Abstract
Improving energy efficiency is often seen as the fastest and most cost-effective way to achieve global greenhouse gas emission targets. The German government has developed a vari-ety of policy instruments intended to reduce national CO2 emis-sions. Making public transport and buildings more energy efficient is key to cleaning the air and lowering overall energy consumption in Germany. The instruments include a programme administered by KFW bank, which aims at improving the energy efficiency of buildings. Germany attaches great importance to the industrial en-ergy efficiency. Incentives would help medium and small size enter-prises to become energy efficiency.关键词
