Abstract

The core feature of intelligent power utilization is to implement flexible interaction of energy flow, information flow and business flow between power grid and consumers. To put forward a technical architecture of intelligent power utilization, which can suit to the technical base and mechanism of electricity marketing in China and adapt to the new situation of friendly interaction of electric energy and diversified service requirement, starting from meeting four typical interactive business requirements, i.e., the information interaction, marketing interaction, electric energy interaction and energy utilization interaction, a 5-layer technical architecture for intelligent power utilization and corresponding implementation are proposed, and then the functional localization of four core technologies in the proposed architecture, namely the advanced metering system and terminals, the interactive supporting platform for intelligent power utilization, the requirement response and energy utilization management and communication and information technology, are focused on. Finally, according to actual progress of intelligent power utilization and practice in China, several suggestions are given. The proposed technical architecture is already applied in the demonstration project of intelligent utilization in Shandong Province.
