摘要

Abstract

In order to explore physical mechanism of large earthquake occurrence,in this paper,the advances in studies on nonlinear large deflection deformations for the flexible shell system with relation to seismic origin process and stability of their deformation physical process are reviewed. In the meantime,the influence of curvature changes on buckling of the flexible shell structure is also introduced. We expect that the paper can provide more of the physics and theoretical basis for an exploring seismogenesis mechanism of large earthquakes.
