摘要

Abstract

It is a hot research topic in recent years to reasonably ensure configuration of flexible AC transmission system ac-cording to topology structure of power grid and real-time load.For considering various factors which may affect configura-tion when calculating reactive power compensation,this paper proposes a kind of calculation method based on multi-objec-tive reactive power optimization which is using genetic algorithm and two target functions including active power loss and in-vestment to establish a multi-objective mathematic optimizing model.Meanwhile,it sets node voltage bias evaluation function as constraint violation function.By analyzing the compromise solution gained from frontier curve,it concludes that active power loss of the compensated grid declines over 5%.In addition,by using genetic algorithm and multi-objective optimiza-tion to conduct reactive power configuration,active power loss of the grid is effectively reduced and several configuration choices are useful to be provided for decision makers to select proper and suitable compensation configuration according to practical requirements.In comparison of economic pressure differential method for ensuring reactive compensation capacity, the multi-objective optimization is useful to save equipment investment although it is of the same effectiveness in reducing ac-tive power loss as economic pressure differential method.
