新疆巴里坤县拉伊格来克膨润土矿Ⅰ矿段膨润土矿物学特征
Mineralogical Characteristics of Bentonite From Ore Block I, Layigrac Bentonite Mine of Barkol County in Xinjiang

Abstract
The Layigrac bentonite mine formed mainly by fluid action ,hydrolyzed and altered the basalt, basalt-ic andesite and intermediate-felsic volcaniclastic rock deposited in the volcanic sedimentary basin .From miner-alogy geological background, the mineralogical characteristics, chemical composition, physical-chemical proper-ties, mineral fabrics and application attributes of montmorillonite from Ore Block I are studied .The conclusions are: (1)Average content of montmorillonite is 68.01%, and w(Al2O3) is 18.45%, showing a relatively high level.(2)The ore displays a slightly higher glial price ( >100 mL/15 g),in swelling capacity (36.0 mL/g) and specific surface area (395 m2/g).(3) ENa +/CEC>69.0%.(4) X-ray diffraction analysis discloses the minerals d(001) value of 1.22-1.35 nm.Therefore, the bentonite in the ore block is a kind of high-quality bentonite mineral resource with combined attributes of sodium base and calcium-sodium base,relatively higher contents of montmorillonite, excellent texture, and strong heat resistance.关键词
