Abstract
Objective To explore the occurrence of complications and the analgesic and sedative effect of gynecologic surgery patients after patient controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA).Methods One hundred cases with obstetrics and gynecology operation were chosen in Anji Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2010 to February 2011, and they were randomly divided into control and intervention group .The control group was given patient controlled intravenous analgesia ( PCIA ) , and the intervention group underwent PCEA.The analgesic and sedative effects and the occurrence of complications were compared between two groups .Results The occurrence of dizziness, abdominal distension, hypotension, nausea, respiratory depression, backpain, nervous dysfunction and nerve root irritation in the intervention group was significantly lower than the control group (χ2 value was 9.01, 6.02, 8.05, 6.08, 9.00, 5.05, 9.08 and 8.00, respectively, all P<0.05).The patient pain score and sedation scores 24h after operation were significantly lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (t value was 7.08 and 8.09, respectively, both P<0.05).Conclusion PCEA for patients undergoing gynecologic surgery is very effective , and it can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications significantly. It is worthy of further promotion and clinical application .关键词
