Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect and safety of modified B-Lynch suture combined with uterine artery ligation in treatment of postoperative refractory postpartum hemorrhage ( PPH) and find new methods for conservative treatment of intractable PPH .Methods A retrospectively analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 61 cases of cesarean section with intractable PPH from January 2006 to December 2012 in department of gynecology and obstetrics of Ankang Maternal and Child Health Hospital .According to different methods , these cases were divided into two groups , study group using modified B-Lynch suture combined with uterine artery ligation treatment ( 28 cases), and control group using traditional methods of treatment (33 cases).Results The intraoperative bleeding volume , bleeding volume 24 hours after operation , average blood transfusion volume and puerperal disease rate of the study group were obviously superior to the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 value was -2.466, -5.609, -4.811 and 4.573,respectively, all P<0.05).Conclusion The modified B-Lynch suture combined with uterine artery ligation is a simple medical treatment with obvious curative effect for refractory PPH .No special medical equipments are needed .It is suitable for popularization and application in grassroots hospitals.关键词
