Abstract
Objective To evaluate the influence of hysteroscopy auxiliary to diagnostic curettage on the dissemination of endometrial carcinoma cells and prognosis of patients .Methods Totally 119 cases of endometrial cancer undergoing surgery in Jiangyin People ’ s Hospital during the period of 2003-2012 were included in the study according to inclusion criteria , and their clinical data were analyzed retrospectively .They were divided into the group of diagnostic curettage only before operation ( n=86 ) and diagnostic curettage assisted with hysteroscopy (n=33).All the patients underwent operation and received peritoneal lavage during the operation to look for cancer cell.The dissemination rate of endometrial carcinoma cells in peritoheal cavity and 5 year survival rate were compared between two groups . Results There was 1 patient with peritoneal cavity dissemination at the group of diagnostic curettage only before operation , with the dissemination rate of 1.16%(1/86), while there were 2 patients at the other group, with the dissemination rate of 6.06%(2/33).There was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).Five cases died within 5 years in the group of diagnostic curettage only before operation, and the recurrence rate was 5.81%(5/86).Endometrial cancer relapsed in 2 cases within 5 years in the other group, and the recurrence rate was 6.06%(2/33).There was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The hysteroscopy shows higher diagnosis accuracy without influence on dissemination rate in peritoheal lavage and prognosis .关键词
