Abstract
Objective To research the expression and distribution of transforming growth factor-beta ( TGF-β1 ) in placental tissue of normal pregnant women and preeclampsia patients and their correlation with the apoptosis of trophocyte .Methods The expression and distribution of TGF-β1 in placental tissue of 30 preeclampsia patients ( mild and severe cases ) and 10 normal pregnant women were detected with immunohistochemistry technique ( IHCT) .The apoptosis of placenta trophocyte cells was tested using TUNEL method .Results TGF-β1 was detected expressing in trophocyte , endothelial and stroma cells in normal pregnant women and preeclampsia patients , primarily in trophocyte cells .The integrated optical density of TGF-β1 increased gradually in the control group , experimental group 1 and experimental group 2.The difference between experimental group 1 and the control group was statistically significant (t=10.834, P<0.01), and there was significant difference between experimental group 2 and experimental group 1 (t =13.056,P <0.01).The apoptosis existed in trophocyte , endothelial and stroma cells , primarily in trophocyte cells , in normal pregnant women and preeclampsia patients .The apoptosis rate of experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 was higher than that of the control group (χ2 value was 18.42 and 48.87, respectively, both P<0.01).With the aggravating of disease, there was a rise trend in apoptosis rate of experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 (χ2 =7.70,P<0.01) .The expression of TGF-β1 in trophocyte was related with the apoptosis in placental villus cells in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 (r value was 0.910 and 0.520, respectively, both P<0.01).Conclusion The high expression of TGF-β1 in the placental tissue of preeclampsia patients might be related with the increase of trophocyte apoptosis .关键词
