Abstract
Objective To explore the application and effect of problem-based learning (PBL) in obstetric nursing teaching ward-round. Methods Eighty nursing students , practicing in obstetric department from June 2011 to June 2012, were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to school grouping .The experimental group accepted PBL teaching model , while the control group used traditional teaching method .The effects of two different clinical nursing teaching modes were compared in the aspects of students’ clinical comprehensive ability , specialized theory , operational capability and nursing records writing .The satisfactory degree of two groups was evaluated .Results The satisfactory degree on nursing teaching ward-round was 92.51% and 55.13% in the experimental group and the control group , respectively, and the difference was significant (χ2 =8.37, P<0.05).The specialized theory and clinical comprehensive ability of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group , and there were significant differences ( t value was 5.37 and 7.21, respectively, both P <0.05).Conclusion PBL teaching mode in nursing ward-round can help nursing students improving comprehensive clinical capability and promote clinical teachers to improve their own quality .It is worthy of promotion in clinical teaching.关键词
