The Technology Spillover Effect of Import Trade---Based on the Industry Empirical Analysis for China's Trading Partners

Abstract
Using industry panel data between 16 developing countries and 22 developed countries , this article analyzes the technolo-gy spillover effect for developing countries by the channel of bilateral import trade during 1995 to 2010 . And it gets that when developing countries import from other countries , after digestion and absorption of the technology attached to imported products can make significant technology spillover effect and total factor productivity improving , and the spillover effect is bigger by trading with developed countries than trading with other developing countries . This suggests that the developing countries should expand the trade with developed countries , and further enhance the R&D input level and total factor productivity .关键词
