Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein ( hs-CRP) in diagnosis of early gestational diabetes mellitus ( GDM) .Method:Pregnant woman with in 24 to 28 gestational weeks in our hospital from January 2008 to January 2012 were given glucose screening test (GCT), and the pregnant women with abnormal GCT was given glucose tolerance screening (75g OGTT), the hs-CRP levels of pregnant women in normal GCT group ( 100 cases ) and abnormal GCT group ( 100 ca-ses) were detected by highly sensitive dry chemical particles enhanced immune nephelometry.Result:The positive rate of hs-CRP in normal GCT group and abnormal GCT group was 6 .0% and 51 .0%, the differ-ence between two groups was significant ( P<0 .05 );100 cases of pregnant women with abnormal GCT was diagnosed with GDM in 20 cases and IGT in 20 cases, hs-CRP positive rate(>10mg /L) of GDM and IGT patients was higher than that in pregnant women with normal OGTT.Conclusion:It's important for hs-CRP participate in early occurrence and development of GDM to prevent and control gestational diabetes.关键词
