Counteraction of the Ethical Features in the Aestheticism Symbol Salome
摘要
Abstract
Oscar Wilde’s Salome is a symbolic character of Aestheticism,but Salome shows distinct ethical fea-tures at the beginning of this one-act tragedy. The psychical analysis on Salome’s inexplicable actions can prove the truth that Salome acts ethically not because of her social morals,but as a symptom of neuroses. By re-moving the ethical features,Salome’s symbolic status in Aestheticism is firmly restated.关键词
