摘要

Abstract

The shale gas resource is rich in the continental shelf of China, and it`s reservoir has special properties. We take 467 samples in the Qinshui basin and test them. These tests are rock ore appraisal, TOC, Ro, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, pyrolysis of organic carbon, air content, ultra-low permeability and isothermal adsorption. Then we found that there are a lot of differences between conventional natural gas and coalbed methane in the parts of mudstone thickness, formation division and air content when we use the volume method to calculate the reserves.It is quite suitable to take the estimating approaches and conversion when dealing with the coal reserves in the trub.
