摘要
Abstract
In this paper,we propose a joined algorithm based on matrix transform andcompanding transform for reducing the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). A unitary matrix is adapted to reduce the aperiodic auto-correlation of the transmitting sequence,and then we use companding function to improve the performance of PAPR further. In MPSK modulation,Computer simulation shows that the joined algorithm has better PAPR reduction and bit error rate (BER)performance compared with using companding transform only,and can reduce PAPR more effectively compared with using matrix transform only. In addition,a good trade-off between PAPR reduction and bit error rate performance can be achieved by adjusting the parameters of thepiecewise-line companding(PWLC)function.关键词
