Abstract
Objective To reduce the clinical misdiagnosis and improve the realization regarding cerebral cysticercosis for medical staff in the non-pidemic area ,we discussed clinical characteristics and treatment methods of cerebral cysticercosis.Methods 1 case of cerebral cysticercosis was reported ,related literature was reviewed and experience of diagnosis and treat-ment was summarized to explore the clinical characteristics and treatment methods.Results Patient was sent to our hospital with symptoms of increased intracranial pressure ,diagnosis was difined as cerebral cysticercosis via magnetic resonance imaging and immunological tests of serum and cerebrospinal fluid ,anti-cysticercosis treatment was accepted and then be recovered smoothly. Conclusion Cerebral cysticercosis was rare in non-epidemic area and with no specific symptom. Difinite diagnosis could be attained throug imaging and serum immunological tests. The key to reduce misdiagnosis is to improve realization and awareness of the disease for medical staff of non-epidemic area.关键词
