Abstract
Objective To observe and investigate the influence of lipoic acid on the nerve conduction function of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods Seventy-eight patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2012 were divided into control group(mecobalamine group)39 cases and observation group(mecobal-amine combined with lipoic acid group)39 cases according to the method of random digits table ,then the total effective rate of nerve conduction function treatment and nerve conduction velocity of median nerve and posterior tibial nerve before and after the treatment of two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of nerve conduction function treatment of observation group after the treatment were higher than those of control group ,the nerve conduction velocity of median nerve and posterior tibial nerve were all significantly better than those before the treatment and control group at the same time ,all P <0.05.Conclusion The influence of lipoic acid for the nerve conduction function of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy is active ,and it is more helpful on the improvement of nerve function state.关键词
