摘要

Abstract

1.54μm laser which is in near-infrared band has more and more application in laser device. So in order to research the atmospheric transmission character, the paper uses three methods which include Modtran, empirical formula and experiment to obtain the attenuation coefficient of 1.54μm laser. It is pointed out that, attenuation coefficient of 1.54 μm laser will decrease conspicuously by visibility decreasing . When visibility is greater than 5 km, the theoretical data is conform to experimental data, and when visibility is less than 3 km, the empirical formula is non-application to 1.54μm laser.
