The Chinese Version of Family Environment Scale Symptoms Questionnaire in Adolescent Students:Its Reliability and Validity

Abstract
Objective To examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese Version of Family Environment Scale Symptoms Ques -tionnaire in adolescent students .Methods A total of 1290 adolescent students completed the Chinese Version of Family Environment Scale Symptoms Questionnaire.Internal consistency,split-half reliability,mean inter-item correlation coefficients,and confirmatory factor analysis were analyzed.Results The internal consistency reliability for the total scale was 0.937,The inter item correlation reliability a-mong three subscales ranged from 0.704~0.895,split-half reliability was 0.505,The mean inter item correlation coefficients ranged from 0.321~0.398.The correlation coefficients of three subscales with the total scale ranged from 0.754~0.841,The correlation coeffi-cients among the three subscales ranged from 0.361~0.622.The results of confirmatory factor analysis of the three-factor structure of the Chinese Version of Family Environment Scale Symptoms Questionnaire were:NFI=0.914,CFI=0.936,GFI=0.937,RMSEA=0.07, which reached statistical requirements .Conclusion The Chinese Version of Family Environment Scale Symptoms Questionnaire can be applied in adolescent students in China .关键词
