Abstract
Objective To study the effect of mental intervention on anxiety and vital sign of patients during abdominal operation . Methods 126 patients with spinal anaesthesia undergoing abdominal operation were randomly divided into two groups :intervention group in which 61 cases engaged in mental intervention;control group in which 65 cases undertook routine treatment .The proportion of patients with anxiety and vital sigh in operation were compared between the two groups .Results The pulse,respiration rate,and systolic blood pressure of intervention group were lower than those of control group ,and the differences were significant .The level of anxiety in in-tervention group(10.8%,n=7,)was lower than that in control group (31.1%,n=19),and the differences were statistically significant . Conclusion It is suggested that the mental intervention is an effective mean in improving the anxiety and vital sign for patients in opera -tion.关键词
