Abstract
In light of the inadequate support of existing clothing body modelling method on nonstandard human bodies , in this paper we propose a modelling method for universal-type 3D clothing mannequin modelling .On the basis of analysing existing scanned 3D data of standard and nonstandard human bodies , we establish a universal-type human body template database and the correspondent automatic selection algorithm through defining the feature parameters suitable for universal-type human bodies so as to solve the problem of modelling distortion in nonstandard human bodies .Template matching algorithm is used to extract similar parts , after the curve fitting and interpolation processing , the human body model is generated .Experiment results shows that the use of this method effectively resolves the distortion problem in nonstandard human body modelling , the human bodies established with both standard and nonstandard body sizes gain noticeable improvement on speed and accuracy , this lays a foundation for the popularisation and application of eMTM .关键词
