摘要

Abstract

There are usually two methods for codes acquisition in GPS receiver:serial search and parallel search.The former can be simply implemented by the hardware,while it needs longer time for acquisition and is computational intensive,and to complete one code search it needs about 2 minutes.The navigation receiver requires faster data update rate,which needs the acquisition time to become shorter. In the paper we focus on the implementation of a fast parallel acquisition algorithm with FFT in frequency domain on SDR (software defined radio)platform.The modelling tool of Xilinx,System Generator,is used to accomplish the FPGA chip programming for the V4 series in XCVFX60FF1152,as well as to implement the hardware realisation of frequency domain acquisition algorithm together with the verification of the correctness of the result.
