摘要

Abstract

Surface texture has been widely used for wear reducing and wear resistant .Micro-textures were prepared on the rake face of the TiAlN coated tools by Focused Ion Beam ( FIB) .Effect of the micro-textures on cutting performance and tribological properties of coated tools were studied by finite element simulation and cutting test .Results showed that micro-texture was benefi-cial to improve temperature distribution on the surface of the coated tool .Cutting temperature of the coated tool with micro-texture was lower than un-textured one .Compared with un-textured coated tool ,wear resistance of the coated tool with micro-texture was improved.At the same time,main cutting force of the coated tool with micro-texture increased slightly.
